St-Gobain launches new PPE

A leading personal protective equipment manufacturer has unveiled a new range of hazmat suits.
St-Gobain Performance Plastics' new OneSuit Pro suit, which is certified to the National Fire Protection standard, has been described by the company as its most affordable product of its kind.
It is also flame-resistant and lightweight, and designed for use by a number of industries that deal with both chemical and biological agents.
Matthew Madeksa, general manager of the company's coated fabrics business unit, explained: 'Fire departments, chemical facilities, and government agencies charged with protecting public safety can now choose certified single-skin hazmat protection without breaking the budget.'
Details about the new hazmat suits have come after global manufacturer Capital safety unveiled a new range of fall arrest equipment.
The company's DBI-SALA brand's ExoFit XP Derrickmans Harness, which includes quick-connect buckles and reflective piping, is designed specifically for use by trades such as the oil industry.© Adfero Ltd
