Safety gloves users offered new PPE report

Safety gloves users might be able to learn more about the personal protective equipment (PPE) market following the publication of a new report.

A variety of subjects are touched upon in the Personal Protective Clothing: Ensuring Worker Safety document compiled by Textiles Intelligence.

The report, which is now being made available by Research and Markets, discusses items of clothing such as cut resistant gear and materials which have reflective qualities.

It will also address topics such as flame resistant clothing.

The benefits that PPE can offer to those working in potentially dangerous environments have been highlighted in a description of the report.

Published on the Research and Markets website, the description stated: 'It [protective gear] provides an effective safeguard against hazards such as extreme temperatures, fire, potentially dangerous objects and harmful substances.'

In the UK, the Health and Safety Executive is responsible for encouraging good safety practices in the country's workplaces.
