Protective gloves offered in new welding safety line

A new line of welding safety equipment includes a pair of protective gloves, it has been revealed.

The Weld Warrior line of personal protective equipment was recently launched by ESAB Welding and Cutting Products, with items such as safety goggles and helmets among the products which are being made available.

Unveiling its new line-up of products, the firm pointed out some of the potential benefits offered by its MIG welding gloves.

The natural curves that feature on the hands of workers are said to be fitted by the gloves thanks to their ergonomic design.

In a statement, the company noted: 'This comfortable glove is made from heavy and fine cut leather, and is lined from hand to cuff. A flexible wrist area reduces friction.'

It was recently pointed out by John Schlageck in an article for the Pratt Tribune that protective gloves are required by those who work with anhydrous ammonia.
