Protective gloves market changing rapidly

Global markets for construction-ready protective gloves are changing at a fast rate as manufacturers look to boost their sales, research suggests.
A new study by the market research company Frost & Sullivan finds that customers are increasingly demanding innovative and task-specific gloves products, leading to increased competition among suppliers.
Analysing the supported gloves, cut and sewn gloves and special protection markets among others, the research claims that companies must tailor their products to suit the diverse needs of their consumers.
It notes that gloves manufacturers in the US may have to offer more innovative and strong value products to ward off the threat of companies from the Asian Pacific region.
An analyst at Frost & Sullivan commented: 'Manufacturers should adapt their products to suit end users' needs to sustain their share in the market.'
According to Health and Safety Executive figures, UK firms spend around £30 million on protective gloves products each year.© Adfero Ltd
