A new report from Frost and Sullivan shows that the market for head and facial gear is notably expected to increase by the year 2014.
The study finds that eye protection, welding gear and ear plugs are becoming more popular as designers create more comfortable products.
Chelsea Rowe, a research analyst at Frost and Sullivan, says that style and comfort are becoming increasingly important market drivers.
She commented: 'Product development focused on improving these factors, combined with the provision of higher levels of protection, are critical for success in this market.'
The report additionally finds that increasing brand awareness will be vital in the future to ensure PPE manufacturers enjoy continued growth in the market place.
