NI advice site may help firms looking to use PPE like safety boots

A new health and safety website has been launched in Northern Ireland to help small businesses comply with the legal regulations that apply to their industry.
In a development that may appeal to firms looking to offer their staff personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety boots, the Health and Safety Works NI (HSWNI) site is aiming to help businesses to improve upon their current practices.
Northern Ireland's enterprise minister Arlene Foster said: 'The HSWNI website gives them a clear starting point from which they can introduce an effective and practical health and safety management programme.'
She further suggested that the site should make health and safety guidance more accessible to the country's smaller firms.
Meanwhile, the Working Well Together campaign recently continued its efforts to raise awareness about construction safety with a health and safety event in Glasgow earlier this month.
