Miller releases new fall protection
Miller Fall Protection has launched a new line of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for workers in a number of industries.
The company's Revolution Harnesses and Shock-Absorbing Lanyards have been created for use in areas in which staff are regularly working in environments where liquids are present, including the petrochemical and painting trades.
Featuring tongue buckle leg straps, the vinyl coated harnesses also include a PivotLink connection design to give those using them more comfort.
The lanyards include a heavy-duty safety strap as back-up, along with a SofStop shock absorber designed to prevent hard fall arrest forces.
Miller also recently launched its Skygrip Temporary Horizontal Lifeline Systems.
Designed for the construction trade, the fall arrest equipment for use on steel and concrete applications is described by the company as compact and lightweight, while it also includes a tension indicator, stanchions and an energy absorber.
The device can also hold two workers per span, as well as six per system.
