Employers looking to conform to health and safety regulations in the workplace through the use protective gloves should consider a number of factors before they opt for any products.

That is according to the US company All Safety Products, which suggests that employers that are required to provide their workers with hand protection have a number of options available to them.

It believes that firms must consider the physical working conditions and safety levels that protective gloves need to conform to.

The types of working environments and temperatures gloves will face are both said to be other important issues.

Meanwhile, the company warns that employers should keep an 'ample' supply of protective gloves in stock in case workers puncture or damage their products.

The German Urban Search and Rescue Association recently invited firms to take part in a tendering process as it aimed to provide its workers with the most trustworthy and flexible protective gloves available.
