Artex containing white asbestos removal - what protection?
|Protec Staff28/08/2007 04:10:29||Hi Melanie With regard your enquiry i have pleasure in confirming as follows: Coverall Type 5/6 is okay our Smartguard Original Coverall will be great for this application. Now to the good one. You have mentioned the Profile2 half mask and filters, as long as you are not using any form of solvents etc for removing the artex (ie just chipping away with a hammer & chisel) then you will need the following filters PRO2P3 filters along with the PROFILE2 1/2 mask. Thank you for your interest in our technical advice service.|
|Melanie Pollitt28/08/2007 01:08:06||Hi, We have artex in one room of the house w've just bought, and are renovating. We are going to be removing the artex ourselves, because of financial restraints. I have been told to get disposable protective overalls Cat 3, type 5/6, and a respirator CE EN149 FFP2 particulate filter. I've looked on the site and found the following items - will these be adequate? Any advice greatly appreciated.
