Helmet Standards EN397 – Safety Helmets
A safety helmet is required where there is a risk of injury from falling objects.
EN812 – Bump Caps
A bump cap or scalp protector (HC22, HC31) is required where there is a risk of accidental bumping of the head e.g. low
overhead pipes and confined spaces. Please note: bump caps are no substitute for safety helmets and must not be used to protect against the risk
of falling objects.
