Advice and Information

Which mask would be best?

Protec Staff17/04/2007 12:55:39 It is difficult to make any recommendation without first hand risk assessment but if dust is your main hazzard then a mask with FFP3 rating will offer a high level of particulate protection. Disposable coveralls for protection against hazardous dust can be found on the web site under Protective Workwear / Disposable Workwear.
Mark Orsborn16/04/2007 03:15:10 Hi, It's a general loft tidy out (not been touched in years!) I guess there will be loft insulation and it's definitely dusty! Hopefully nothing too nasty up there!! cheers
Protec Staff16/04/2007 12:12:30 Mark - you need to be a bit more specific for us to make any form of suggestion on respiratory protection. What hazzard is it that you are trying to protect against? e.g. dust, loft insulation fibres (if so what type of insulation is it?) Disposable coveralls are available but again if you can be specific on the application we can advise you on a suitable garment.
Mark Orsborn16/04/2007 08:50:32 Hello, I need to clear a loft out. What sort of mask should I use? Also, do you do throwaway suits as it could be a dirty job! Thanks
