Dust mask fitting

I work in a lab environment, and some of our work necessitates a dust mask (for fine powders). We currently use the 3m FFP2 masks.

The main concern that has arisen, is that these masks are a one-size-fits-all, whereas, like gloves, shapes & sizes differ.

Are there any options for sizing of disposable powder masks?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris

Unfortunately as they are disposable all these masks do tend to be a one size fits all. The 8835 does come in 2 different sizes but these are a FFP3 so would be over protecting for what you require if you are currently using a FFP2.

Maybe you could look into using a 4251 which is a reusable maintenence free half mask with adjustable straps to ensure a secure fit on the face. You could possibly look into a half face mask with a p2 filter , these come in different sizes.
If you were unsure of the size you would require please submit your postal details and we will send you out a face fit tester you can send your details directly to

sales5@protecdirect.co.uk

to avoid your details being online.

I hope this information helps

Many thanks
