  3. Wrangler expands workwear range

Wrangler Workwear has expanded its premium brand range, with the extensions to its offering promising to give wearers increased mobility and comfort.

Though more known for its fashion jeans and other denim wear these days, the brand was originally conceived to deliver comfortable protective clothing to workers in the western United States. With this in mind, the firm states:

“Wrangler Workwear was born from the idea that durable workwear doesn't have to be uncomfortable.”

With workers all over the world increasingly wanting their protective gear to offer greater comfort and flexibility, the new Wrangler range is promising this. According to the firm’s press release, the new clothing will move with its wearer, allowing them to bend, stretch, lift and climb with greater ease and comfort.

As working on construction sites and other similar environments calls for greater demands on the people involved and the clothing they wear, this all sounds like positive news. In keeping with its long held traditions though, Wrangler is also clearly looking at modern life with is designs.

There is the inclusion of a mobile phone pocket on its utility trousers, for example. The brand – so synonymous with denim – has also moved away from that, offering its range in more modern colours such as silver greys and olive greens.

The range is not just for men these days either, with female workers being catered for just as much as their male counterparts.

The new line has just launched in the US, with a release date in the UK due later this year.
