Workrite launches flame resistant range
American fireproof garment firm Workrite has launched a new range of flame resistant clothing, which can be used in the construction industry by those who may be at risk of exposure to fire.
Known as the Dickies FR range, the trousers, shirt and jacket are all compiled from flame resistant materials, with the items in the range listed as a five-pocket jean, carpenter jean, work shirt and hooded duck jacket capable of covering a hard hat for those also working in areas where the head may be in danger.
All are made from 100 per cent cotton denim.
The range is the result of a collaboration between Workrite and work clothes maker Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing, the companies announced.
Workrite's director of marketing, Charlotte McGhee, said: 'Our expertise in proven flame-resistant fabrics, quality manufacturing, and customer service allows us to take Dickies into the flame-resistant marketplace.'
