Staubli launch new air filter units for PPE
Staubli UK (Connectors) has announced the launch of a new range of breathing air filter units, providing an improved supply of masks for a range of personal protection equipment applications.
The group said it has launched two new models in the range, catering for masks and ventilated suits across various industrial applications, including nuclear, chemical, military and waste.
The BQR 50 is the first of these, with a maximum outflow of 850nl/min supplying sufficient breathing air for four masks, two half-suits or one ventilated suit.
Meanwhile the BQR 150 has a maximum flow rate of 2500nl/min and can supply eight masks, six half-suits or four ventilated suits.
Both units operate without electricity, are compact, portable and ergonomically designed and employ a two stage filter system to convert instrument air into breathing air.
Breathing lines can be connected securely to the BQR filter units by use of Staubli's AQR range of couplings, which has been specifically designed for use in the supply of breathing air to personal protection equipment.
The new range of breathing air filter units are part of Staubli's breathing apparatus portfolio, which now includes filter units, hoses, plugs and sockets.
