A leading manufacturer of safety equipment has unveiled a new fall protection system.

Sperian's new Miller Twin Turbo device includes a new mounting bracket design which features two personal fall limiters for better versatility and movement capabilities.

According to the company, which also produces a number of other types of safety systems, the new product is lightweight and includes a six-foot working capacity lifeline.

It also meets a number of global standards for personal protective equipment and is designed to have a longer service life than rival devices.

GN Netcom recently unveiled a new hearing protection product designed to cut ambient sounds but not compromise on voice quality.

The Jabra BT530 system includes a dual microphone, acoustic shock protection, a USB charger connection and around five hours of talk time.

Anne Rasmussen, vice-president of GN Netcom's mobile division, claimed that the devices integrated within the product are 'completely new and proprietary'.
