  3. Sensgard launches new hearing protection

Sensgard has launched a new range of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed to protect a worker's hearing.

The company's new SG31 product, which is thought to be cheaper than standard ear muffs, features technology that uses the mechanical energy of sound waves to block them before they reach the ear.

It has been created specifically with extreme noice environments such as construction sites and manufacturing plants in mind.

The hearing protection is also designed to be used easily with other PPE like eye products, while it can be adjusted to fit a wearer's head.

Sensgard has claimed that it is available in two colours and comes with a carrying case.

Rival PPE manufacturer Uvex recently launched a new range of safety glasses.

The company's new Winner Specs are available with either sunglare and clear lenses, while they also include a number of traits designed specifically to make them comfortable for wearers.

According to Manufacturingtalk, the eye protection product has been launched in conjunction with the company's new online prescription service.
