Recyclable hand protection launched

A Canadian company has launched a new range of hand protection created from bamboo.

Ronco's new Ronco-Eco products are made from 100 per cent bamboo shell and also feature a natural foam latex coating.

Available in four different sizes, the personal protective equipment, which is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and absorbent, is suitable for a number of applications and industries.

Ron Pecchioli, president of Ronco, said his company has 'always believed in bringing new innovations and technology to the safety industry'.

He added: 'Ronco also has a well-rounded sustainability program, a part of which focuses on development of new products that reduce environmental impact.'

Superior Glove Works recently announced the launch of a new range of cut-resistant hand protection.

The Emerald CX range features a blend of Kevlar, stainless steel wirecore and high strength synthetics to increase levels of protection, while they are also designed to be both comfortable and dexterous for wearers.
