Protective gloves seminar announced

A seminar outlining the importance of wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) such as protective gloves is set to take place next week.

Entitled PPE For Working At Height, an interactive lecture will guide construction employees through the myths and realities surrounding tall building projects.

Including slides and practical demonstrations, it will also appeal to students looking to learn about the use of PPE in permanent and temporary building projects.

The seminar will form part of the PLASA Focus equipment and technology event which will take place at Leeds Royal Armouries centre.

A total of 1800 visitors are expected to attend the two-day show which runs between April 28th and 29th.

The show will feature 100 exhibitors from the installation, architectural and entertainment industries, showcasing new protective equipment and technological products.

It is being supported by the Professional Lighting and Sound Association.
