PPE company unveils new safety vests

A leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) has unveiled three new safety vest products.

Designed to meet official specifications, American Safety Vest's new products are available in both fluorescent orange and lime with reflective striping and Velcro closure.

The three products cover different levels of visibility, with the Class III product designed to offer high visibility in areas specifically where vehicle speeds are over 50 miles per hour.

According to the company, its products, which are available in a number of sizes, can be used by people in a variety of occupations and are also available with customised inscriptions.

The launch of the reflective clothing has come after Sperian launched a new fall protection system.

Called the Miller Twin Turbo, it includes a new mounting bracket design that features personal fall limiters which allow for versatility.

Produced to meet global standards, the lightweight kit also includes a six-foot working capacity lifeline.
