Hobart Welding Products unveils new PPE
A new range of personal protective equipment (PPE) has been launched Hobart Welding Products.
The collection, which has been described as ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, includes both cloth and leather welding jackets, as well as a leather apron and welding sleeves.
It is thought that the PPE will protect those in the welding trade from dangers such as sparks, heat and ultraviolet rays.
Caleb Krishner, product manager at Hobart Welding Products, said injuries in the trade often happen due to 'improper protection'.
'Safety apparel such as fire-retardant sleeves and leather jackets take only a moment to throw on and protect against nasty burns and otherwise needless trips to the emergency room,' he added.
Kimberly Clark recently launched a new range of hand protection designed to provide users with barrier protection and puncture resistance.
The company's Kim Tech Pure G3 and G5 Sterling Nitrile gloves are thought to be suitable for use in several industrial sectors, including electronics, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
