Eye protection launched
A range of new products designed to protect the eyes of workers in a number of sectors has been unveiled.
US Safety has revealed that its Bradley, Cambridge and Intruder models are designed to meet a number of industry standards and can be used to protect people from many hazards.
It is believed that the polycarbonate lenses featured on the devices are abrasion resistant and also include proven anti-fog technology.
Able to black almost all types of harmful UV radiation, the ranges also include neoprene straps ideal for clean-room environments and hypoallergenic foam.
The company has yet to confirm pricing or release details for the new personal protective equipment.
At the end of last year, the Health and Safety Executive urged companies to take care of employees in 2009.
The organisation called for firms to bear in mind a number of issues in the next 12 months, including using personal protective equipment when staff are working at height.
